The Recombinant SMARCA2/BRM Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C211529) against SMARCA2/BRM. SMARCA2, also named as BRM, is a transcriptional coactivator cooperating with nuclear hormone receptors to potentiate transcriptional activation. SMARCA2 is involved in vitamin D-coupled transcription regulation via its association with the WINAC complex, a chromatin-remodeling complex recruited by vitamin D receptor (VDR), which is required for the ligand-bound VDR-mediated transrepression of the CYP27B1 gene. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human and Mouse samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF and FC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A549, HL-60, U-2 OS, IHC analysis of Human lung and IF analysis of 293, A549. The target is localized to the nucleus.
