The Recombinant SOX9 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C223239) against SOX9. The protein encoded by this gene recognizes the sequence CCTTGAG along with other members of the HMG-box class DNA-binding proteins. It acts during chondrocyte differentiation and, with steroidogenic factor 1, regulates transcription of the anti-Muellerian hormone (AMH) gene. Deficiencies lead to the skeletal malformation syndrome campomelic dysplasia, frequently with sex reversal. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human and Mouse samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC-P applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of 3T3, Hela and IHC analysis of Human breast cancer. The target is localized to the nucleus.
