Recombinant TOMM22/TOM22 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant TOMM22/TOM22 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C321570) against TOMM22/TOM22. TOMM22/TOM22 is a central receptor component of the translocase of the outer membrane of mitochondria responsible for the recognition and translocation of cytosolically synthesized mitochondrial preproteins. It is showed in UniProt that phosphorylation is performed at three positions of this protein which may increase the molecular weight. This antibody recognises the 22 kDa protein larger than the calculated MW which is 15 kDa. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Raji, K562, 293T and IHC analysis of Human liver cancer. The target is localized to the mitochondrion membrane.
