The Recombinant Tuberin Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110294) against Tuberin. Mutations in this gene lead to tuberous sclerosis complex. Its gene product is believed to be a tumor suppressor and is able to stimulate specific GTPases. The protein associates with hamartin in a cytosolic complex, possibly acting as a chaperone for hamartin. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, 293T, HCT116, NIH/3T3, Rat brain. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
