The Recombinant VCAM1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110252) against VCAM1. This gene is a member of the Ig superfamily and encodes a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine-activated endothelium. This type I membrane protein mediates leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction, and may play a role in the development of artherosclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Three alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of NIH-3T3. The target is localized to the membrane, Single-pass type I membrane protein.
