The TGF-β1 (Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1) ELISA Kit is expertly designed for the quantitative measurement of TGF-β1 levels in various biological samples. TGF-β1 is a potent multi-functional cytokine implicated in numerous biological processes, such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. It holds a critical role in the immune system by regulating immune responses and is associated with several pathological conditions, including inflammatory diseases, autoimmune disorders, and fibrosis. Precise quantification of TGF-β1 is crucial for understanding its contribution to disease pathogenesis and for the development of targeted therapeutic interventions. Assay Genie's TGF-β1 ELISA Kit ensures optimal sensitivity and specificity, providing reliable and consistent results. Produced under strict quality control measures, this kit offers robust performance and simplicity of use, making it an outstanding choice for research and clinical applications alike. Rely on Assay Genie's TGF-β1 ELISA Kit for reliable and precise quantification of this vital biomarker in your investigations.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target protein is then added, followed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well, resulting in a color change. Only wells containing the target protein, detection antibody, and HRP conjugate will develop a blue color. The reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution, resulting in a yellow color. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample and is determined using a standard curve.
