The CKM Antibody (CAB2024) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.CKM is primarily found in skeletal muscle, where it plays a key role in the regeneration of ATP during intense exercise. Dysregulation of CKM has been linked to various muscle disorders and metabolic diseases, making it an important target for research in the fields of exercise physiology, sports science, and muscle biology.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA, IF-P applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic enzyme involved in energy homeostasis and is an important serum marker for myocardial infarction. The encoded protein reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens such as creatine phosphate. It acts as a homodimer in striated muscle as well as in other tissues, and as a heterodimer with a similar brain isozyme in heart. The encoded protein is a member of the ATP:guanido phosphotransferase protein family.
