The GCLM Antibody (CAB5314) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the GCLM protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of GCLM in a variety of cell types, making it an essential tool for research in molecular biology and biochemistry.GCLM is a key enzyme in the glutathione synthesis pathway, playing a critical role in antioxidant defense and cellular detoxification.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

Glutamate-cysteine ligase, also known as gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase, is the first rate limiting enzyme of glutathione synthesis. The enzyme consists of two subunits, a heavy catalytic subunit and a light regulatory subunit. Gamma glutamylcysteine synthetase deficiency has been implicated in some forms of hemolytic anemia. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
