Description
Magnetic separation rack for 1.5/2 ml tubes
GeniePure Separation Rack (1.5/2 ml) is a magnetic separation rack for 1.5 ml and 2 ml microcentrifuge tubes. It gives fast, complete magnetic bead capture for nucleic acid clean-up, extraction and immunoprecipitation, and its powerful magnets allow buffer exchange without centrifugation.
The tube holder detaches from the magnetic base, so you can resuspend or mix samples between steps without removing the tubes. Sloped sidewalls hold the tubes firmly against the magnet for smooth, accurate aspiration, and built-in magnetic shielding prevents racks attracting each other when several are used side by side.
Holds 16 tubes (1.5 ml per well). For research use only.
Key Features

Q1: Which tubes does the rack hold?
- It takes 1.5 ml and 2 ml microcentrifuge tubes, with 16 wells (1.5 ml per well).
Q2: Can I mix samples without taking the tubes out?
- Yes. The tube holder detaches from the magnetic base, so you can resuspend or mix samples and then return them to the magnet without removing the tubes.
Q3: Can I use several racks next to each other?
- Yes. Built-in magnetic shielding prevents racks attracting each other, so they can be used side by side in high-throughput setups.
