Description
Human ABCB9 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ABCB9 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Val504-Ala766, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 30.84 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. ABC-type oligopeptide transporter ABCB9 is a ~84 kDa protein. ATP-dependent low-affinity peptide transporter which translocates a broad spectrum of peptides from the cytosol to the lysosomal lumen for degradation. For research use only.
Displays a broad peptide length specificity from 6-mer up to at least 59-mer peptides with an optimum of 23-mers. Binds and transports smaller and larger peptides with the same affinity. Favors positively charged, aromatic or hydrophobic residues in the N- and C-terminal positions whereas negatively charged residues as well as asparagine and methionine are not favored.
