Description

Human ABCC13 ELISA Kit

Human ABCC13 ELISA kits are used to detect ATP Binding Cassette Transporter C13 (ABCC13) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological samples. ABCC13 is a putative member of the ATP-binding cassette sub-family C, the family that includes the multidrug resistance-associated proteins, and it is also referred to as C21orf73 or PRED6. ABC transporters use ATP hydrolysis to move substrates across membranes. The ABCC13 gene lies on chromosome 21, and in humans it is generally regarded as a pseudogene or as encoding a truncated product, since the full-length transporter found in some other species is not produced. Its physiological function is therefore not well characterised, and ABCC13 transcripts have been detected in tissues such as fetal liver, bone marrow and some tumour samples.
