Description

Human AMR ELISA Kit (Small Sample Volume)

Human AMR ELISA kits are used to detect Adrenomedullin Receptor (AMR) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological samples. The adrenomedullin receptor, also listed as GPR182 or ADMR, is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor that has been linked to signalling by adrenomedullin, a peptide hormone with vasodilatory and angiogenic activity. Adrenomedullin acts mainly through the calcitonin receptor-like receptor paired with RAMP accessory proteins, and the status of GPR182 as a distinct adrenomedullin receptor has been debated, with more recent work describing it as an atypical chemokine receptor expressed on endothelial cells. The receptor is found in tissues such as the vasculature, lung and lymphoid organs. It is studied in cardiovascular biology, in angiogenesis and in hematopoietic stem cell regulation.
