Description
Human ATG14 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ATG14 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Glu209-Glu415, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 25.24 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Beclin 1-associated autophagy-related key regulator (ATG14) is a ~55 kDa protein. Required for both basal and inducible autophagy. For research use only.
Determines the localization of the autophagy-specific PI3-kinase complex PI3KC3-C1. Plays a role in autophagosome formation and MAP1LC3/LC3 conjugation to phosphatidylethanolamine. Promotes BECN1 translocation from the trans-Golgi network to autophagosomes. Enhances PIK3C3 activity in a BECN1-dependent manner.
