Description
Human ATRAID Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ATRAID Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Leu31-Ser199, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. All-trans retinoic acid-induced differentiation factor is a ~24 kDa protein. Promotes osteoblast cell differentiation and terminal mineralization. For research use only.
Plays a role in inducing the cell cycle arrest via inhibiting CCND1 expression in all-trans-retinoic acid (ATRA) signal pathway. In osteoclasts, forms a transporter complex with ATRAID for nitrogen-containing-bisphophonates (N-BPs) required for releasing N-BP molecules that have trafficked to lysosomes through fluid-phase endocytosis into the cytosol.
