Description
Human BCAS3 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human BCAS3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met230-Gly546, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 36.4 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. BCAS3 microtubule associated cell migration factor is a ~101 kDa protein. Plays a role in angiogenesis. For research use only.
Participates in the regulation of cell polarity and directional endothelial cell migration by mediating both the activation and recruitment of CDC42 and the reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton at the cell leading edge. Promotes filipodia formation. Functions synergistically with PELP1 as a transcriptional coactivator of estrogen receptor-responsive genes. Stimulates histone acetyltransferase activity.
