Human BORCS5 Recombinant Protein (N-GST & C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asn46-Leu196, with an N-terminal GST tag and a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 45.67 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. BLOC-1-related complex subunit 5 (BORCS5) is a ~22 kDa protein. Associated with the cytosolic face of lysosomes, the BORC complex may recruit ARL8B and couple lysosomes to microtubule plus-end-directed kinesin motor. Thereby, it may indirectly play a role in cell spreading and motility.
