Description
Human CAVIN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CAVIN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Leu43-Val153, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 14.55 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Caveolae-associated protein 1 is a ~43 kDa protein. Plays an important role in caveolae formation and organization. For research use only.
Essential for the formation of caveolae in all tissues. Core component of the CAVIN complex which is essential for recruitment of the complex to the caveolae in presence of calveolin-1 (CAV1). Essential for normal oligomerization of CAV1. Promotes ribosomal transcriptional activity in response to metabolic challenges in the adipocytes and plays an important role in the formation of the ribosomal transcriptional loop.
