Human CCRL2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Ser43&Glu166-His198&Ser308-Val344, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. C-C chemokine receptor-like 2 is a ~39 kDa protein. Receptor for CCL19 and chemerin/RARRES2. For research use only.
Does not appear to be a signaling receptor, but may have a role in modulating chemokine-triggered immune responses by capturing and internalizing CCL19 or by presenting RARRES2 ligand to CMKLR1, a functional signaling receptors. Plays a critical role for the development of Th2 responses.
