Description
Human CD207 Recombinant Protein (N-GST)
Human CD207 Recombinant Protein (N-GST) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Pro65-Pro328, with an N-terminal GST tag. Predicted molecular weight: 56.63 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. C-type lectin domain family 4 member K (CD207) is a ~36 kDa protein. Calcium-dependent lectin displaying mannose-binding specificity. For research use only.
Induces the formation of Birbeck granules (BGs); is a potent regulator of membrane superimposition and zippering. Binds to sulfated as well as mannosylated glycans, keratan sulfate (KS) and beta-glucans. Facilitates uptake of antigens and is involved in the routing and/or processing of antigen for presentation to T cells. Major receptor on primary Langerhans cells for Candida species, Saccharomyces species, and Malassezia furfur.
