Description
Human CDX2 Recombinant Protein (N-GST)
Human CDX2 Recombinant Protein (N-GST) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Gln313, with an N-terminal GST tag. Predicted molecular weight: 60.33 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Homeobox protein CDX-2 (CDX2) is a ~33 kDa protein. Transcription factor which regulates the transcription of multiple genes expressed in the intestinal epithelium. For research use only.
Binds to the promoter of the intestinal sucrase-isomaltase SI and activates SI transcription. Binds to the DNA sequence 5'-ATAAAAACTTAT-3' in the promoter region of VDR and activates VDR transcription. Binds to and activates transcription of LPH. Activates transcription of CLDN2 and intestinal mucin MUC2.
