Description
Human CD218b/IL18RAP Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CD218b/IL18RAP Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Phe20-Arg356, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 40.74 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Interleukin-18 receptor accessory protein (CD218b/IL18RAP) is a ~68 kDa protein. Within the IL18 receptor complex, does not mediate IL18-binding, but involved in IL18-dependent signal transduction, leading to NF-kappa-B and JNK activation. For research use only.
May play a role in IL18-mediated IFNG synthesis from T-helper 1 (Th1) cells (Probable).
