Human CD272/BTLA (LY3361237) Antibody is a research-grade biosimilar monoclonal antibody targeting CD272. It is a human IgG4 antibody. Reactivity: Human. Supplied as a liquid in 0.01M PBS pH 7.4. Applications: ELISA, flow cytometry, functional assays and in vivo research. Endotoxin: < 10 EU/mg. Purity: >95% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE. For research use only.
B- and T-lymphocyte attenuator (CD272/BTLA) is a ~32 kDa protein. Inhibitory receptor on lymphocytes that negatively regulates antigen receptor signaling via PTPN6/SHP-1 and PTPN11/SHP-2. May interact in cis (on the same cell) or in trans (on other cells) with TNFRSF14. In cis interactions, appears to play an immune regulatory role inhibiting in trans interactions in naive T cells to maintain a resting state. In trans interactions, can predominate during adaptive immune response to provide survival signals to effector T cells.
