Description
Human CD99 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human CD99 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Asp122, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 13.18 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. CD99 antigen is a ~18 kDa protein. Involved in T-cell adhesion processes and in spontaneous rosette formation with erythrocytes. For research use only.
Plays a role in a late step of leukocyte extravasation helping leukocytes to overcome the endothelial basement membrane. Acts at the same site as, but independently of, PECAM1. Involved in T-cell adhesion processes.
