Description
Human CHD4 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human CHD4 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Gln1912, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 218.98 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in 20 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 100 mM NaCl, 1 mM EDTA, 4%trehalose, 1% mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler CHD4 is a ~218 kDa protein. ATP-dependent chromatin-remodeling factor that binds and distorts nucleosomal DNA. For research use only.
Acts as a component of the histone deacetylase NuRD complex which participates in the remodeling of chromatin. Localizes to acetylated damaged chromatin in a ZMYND8-dependent manner, to promote transcriptional repression and double-strand break repair by homologous recombination. Involved in neurogenesis.
