Human CHD6 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Tyr455-Arg682, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Regulates transcription by disrupting nucleosomes in a largely non-sliding manner which strongly increases the accessibility of chromatin; nucleosome disruption requires ATP. Activates transcription of specific genes in response to oxidative stress through interaction with NFE2L2.
