Description
Human COLGALT1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human COLGALT1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg53-His319, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Procollagen galactosyltransferase 1 is a ~71 kDa protein. Beta-galactosyltransferase that transfers beta-galactose to hydroxylysine residues of type I collagen. For research use only.
By acting on collagen glycosylation, facilitates the formation of collagen triple helix. Also involved in the biosynthesis of collagen type IV.
