Description
Human CRYL1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CRYL1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Gln319, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 37.58 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Lambda-crystallin homolog (CRYL1) is a ~35 kDa protein. Catalyzes the conversion of L-gulonate to 3-dehydro-L-gulonate. For research use only.
It also exhibits low dehydrogenase activity toward L-3-hydroxybutyrate (HBA) and L-threonate. Utilizes NAD as the sole cosubstrate and shows no activity with NADP.
