Human DACH1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human DACH1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr182-Arg285, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Dachshund homolog 1 is a ~78 kDa protein. Transcription factor that is involved in regulation of organogenesis. For research use only.
Seems to be a regulator of SIX1, SIX6 and probably SIX5. Corepression of precursor cell proliferation in myoblasts by SIX1 is switched to coactivation through recruitment of EYA3 to the SIX1-DACH1 complex. Transcriptional activation also seems to involve association of CREBBP. Seems to act as a corepressor of SIX6 in regulating proliferation by directly repressing cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors, including the p27Kip1 promoter.
