Description

Human DBNL ELISA Kit

Human DBNL ELISA kits are used to detect Drebrin Like Protein (DBNL) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological samples. DBNL, also known as drebrin-like protein or HIP-55, is an adaptor protein that binds F-actin and is expressed in many tissues, including immune cells and neurons. It contains an actin-binding region and an SH3 domain through which it interacts with dynamin and with regulators such as WASL and COBL, linking the actin cytoskeleton to receptor-mediated endocytosis. It helps to reorganise actin, to form cell projections such as neurites and dendritic spines, and to support synapse formation, but it does not bind G-actin or promote polymerisation itself. DBNL also participates in T-cell and B-cell receptor signalling through interactions with kinases such as HPK1. It is therefore studied in endocytosis, immune cell signalling and neuronal morphogenesis.
