Description
Human DBP Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human DBP Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Pro193-Leu325, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 17.90 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. D site-binding protein (DBP) is a ~34 kDa protein. This transcriptional activator recognizes and binds to the sequence 5'-RTTAYGTAAY-3' found in the promoter of genes such as albumin, CYP2A4 and CYP2A5. For research use only.
It is not essential for circadian rhythm generation, but modulates important clock output genes. May be a direct target for regulation by the circadian pacemaker component clock. May affect circadian period and sleep regulation.
