Description
Human DEDD Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human DEDD Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln191-Pro318, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 17.11 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Death effector domain-containing protein (DEDD) is a ~36 kDa protein. A scaffold protein that directs CASP3 to certain substrates and facilitates their ordered degradation during apoptosis. For research use only.
May also play a role in mediating CASP3 cleavage of KRT18. Regulates degradation of intermediate filaments during apoptosis. May play a role in the general transcription machinery in the nucleus and might be an important regulator of the activity of GTF3C3. Inhibits DNA transcription in vitro.
