Description
Human DMD Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human DMD Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser3066-Ile3321, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 31.62 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Dystrophin (DMD) is a ~426 kDa protein. Anchors the extracellular matrix to the cytoskeleton via F-actin. For research use only.
Ligand for dystroglycan. Component of the dystrophin-associated glycoprotein complex which accumulates at the neuromuscular junction (NMJ) and at a variety of synapses in the peripheral and central nervous systems and has a structural function in stabilizing the sarcolemma. Also implicated in signaling events and synaptic transmission.
