Description
Human DYNC1I1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human DYNC1I1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Leu273-Gly608, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 39.74 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 intermediate chain 1 (DYNC1I1) is a ~72 kDa protein. Acts as one of several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that are thought to be involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. For research use only.
Cytoplasmic dynein 1 acts as a motor for the intracellular retrograde motility of vesicles and organelles along microtubules. The intermediate chains mediate the binding of dynein to dynactin via its 150 kDa component (p150-glued) DCTN1. May play a role in mediating the interaction of cytoplasmic dynein with membranous organelles and kinetochores.
