Human EGF Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in yeast cells, spanning Asn971-His1024, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 7.04 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Pro-epidermal growth factor (EGF) is a ~133 kDa protein. EGF stimulates the growth of various epidermal and epithelial tissues in vivo and in vitro and of some fibroblasts in cell culture.
