Human EPOR Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Ala25-Pro250, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 27.73 kDa. Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Erythropoietin receptor is a ~55 kDa protein. Receptor for erythropoietin, which mediates erythropoietin-induced erythroblast proliferation and differentiation. For research use only.
Upon EPO stimulation, EPOR dimerizes triggering the JAK2/STAT5 signaling cascade. In some cell types, can also activate STAT1 and STAT3. May also activate the LYN tyrosine kinase.
