Human EPX Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Leu580-Arg673, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 13.20 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Eosinophil peroxidase is a ~81 kDa protein. Mediates tyrosine nitration of secondary granule proteins in mature resting eosinophils. For research use only.
Shows significant inhibitory activity towards Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv by inducing bacterial fragmentation and lysis.
