Human ERC2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ERC2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln134-Lys315, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. ERC protein 2 is a ~110 kDa protein. Thought to be involved in the organization of the cytomatrix at the nerve terminals active zone (CAZ) which regulates neurotransmitter release. For research use only.
Seems to act together with BSN. May recruit liprin-alpha proteins to the CAZ.
