Description
Human FLNB Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human FLNB Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly1175-Val1457, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 32.19 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Filamin-B (FLNB) is a ~278 kDa protein. Connects cell membrane constituents to the actin cytoskeleton. For research use only.
May promote orthogonal branching of actin filaments and links actin filaments to membrane glycoproteins. Anchors various transmembrane proteins to the actin cytoskeleton. Interaction with FLNA may allow neuroblast migration from the ventricular zone into the cortical plate. Various interactions and localizations of isoforms affect myotube morphology and myogenesis.
