Description
Human FOXP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human FOXP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asn461-Pro671, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 26.03 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Forkhead box protein P1 (FOXP1) is a ~75 kDa protein. Transcriptional repressor. For research use only.
Can act with CTBP1 to synergistically repress transcription but CTPBP1 is not essential. Plays an important role in the specification and differentiation of lung epithelium. Acts cooperatively with FOXP4 to regulate lung secretory epithelial cell fate and regeneration by restricting the goblet cell lineage program; the function may involve regulation of AGR2. Essential transcriptional regulator of B-cell development.
