Description
Human GAPDHS Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human GAPDHS Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Glu75-Lys408, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 38.71 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, testis-specific is a ~44 kDa protein. Catalyzes the conversion of D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P) into 3-phospho-D-glyceroyl phosphate in glycolysis and the reverse reaction in gluconeogenesis. For research use only.
May play an important role in regulating the switch between different pathways for energy production during spermiogenesis and in the spermatozoon. Required for sperm motility and male fertility.
