Human GLE1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys381-Ser698, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. mRNA export factor GLE1 is a ~79 kDa protein. Required for the export of mRNAs containing poly(A) tails from the nucleus into the cytoplasm. For research use only.
May be involved in the terminal step of the mRNA transport through the nuclear pore complex (NPC).
