Description
Human GRB10 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human GRB10 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys167-Leu417, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 31.53 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Growth factor receptor-bound protein 10 is a ~67 kDa protein. Adapter protein which modulates coupling of a number of cell surface receptor kinases with specific signaling pathways. For research use only.
Binds to, and suppress signals from, activated receptors tyrosine kinases, including the insulin (INSR) and insulin-like growth factor (IGF1R) receptors. The inhibitory effect can be achieved by 2 mechanisms: interference with the signaling pathway and increased receptor degradation. Delays and reduces AKT1 phosphorylation in response to insulin stimulation. Blocks association between INSR and IRS1 and IRS2 and prevents insulin-stimulated IRS1 and IRS2 tyrosine phosphorylation.
