Human GTF2E2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser68-Ser243, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 22.61 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Transcription initiation factor IIE subunit beta is a ~33 kDa protein. Recruits TFIIH to the initiation complex and stimulates the RNA polymerase II C-terminal domain kinase and DNA-dependent ATPase activities of TFIIH. For research use only.
Both TFIIH and TFIIE are required for promoter clearance by RNA polymerase.
