Description
Human HAND1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human HAND1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly97-Gln215, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Heart- and neural crest derivatives-expressed protein 1 is a ~23 kDa protein. Transcription factor that plays an essential role in both trophoblast giant cell differentiation and in cardiac morphogenesis. For research use only.
Binds the DNA sequence 5'-NRTCTG-3' (non-canonical E-box). Acts as a transcriptional repressor of SOX15. In the adult, could be required for ongoing expression of cardiac-specific genes.
