Description
Human HCFC1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human HCFC1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asn52-His258, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 25.28 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Host cell factor 1 (HCFC1) is a ~208 kDa protein. Transcriptional coregulator. For research use only.
Serves as a scaffold protein, bridging interactions between transcription factors, including THAP11 and ZNF143, and transcriptional coregulators. Involved in control of the cell cycle. Also antagonizes transactivation by ZBTB17 and GABP2; represses ZBTB17 activation of the p15(INK4b) promoter and inhibits its ability to recruit p300. Coactivator for EGR2 and GABP2.
