Description
Human HEY2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human HEY2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser44-His178, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 17.53 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Hairy/enhancer-of-split related with YRPW motif protein 2 is a ~35 kDa protein. Downstream effector of Notch signaling which may be required for cardiovascular development. For research use only.
Transcriptional repressor which binds preferentially to the canonical E box sequence 5'-CACGTG-3'. Represses transcription by the cardiac transcriptional activators GATA4 and GATA6.
