Human HIRA Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Asp364, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 42.54 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein HIRA is a ~111 kDa protein. Cooperates with ASF1A to promote replication-independent chromatin assembly. For research use only.
Required for the periodic repression of histone gene transcription during the cell cycle. Required for the formation of senescence-associated heterochromatin foci (SAHF) and efficient senescence-associated cell cycle exit.
