Human IGFBP6 Recombinant Protein (C-Strep) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Gly240, with a C-terminal Strep tag. Predicted molecular weight: 26.51 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 6 is a ~25 kDa protein. IGF-binding proteins prolong the half-life of the IGFs and have been shown to either inhibit or stimulate the growth promoting effects of the IGFs on cell culture. For research use only.
