Description

Human IL21R ELISA Kit

Human IL21R ELISA kits are used to detect Interleukin 21 Receptor (IL21R) in tissue homogenates and other biological samples. IL21R, also known as CD360, is the receptor for interleukin-21, a cytokine made mainly by activated T cells. It is expressed on T cells, B cells, natural killer cells and other immune cells, and pairs with the common gamma chain to signal through JAK1, JAK3 and STAT3. IL-21 signalling promotes B cell differentiation and antibody production, supports T follicular helper and cytotoxic T cell function and regulates natural killer cell activity. Loss of IL21R function causes a primary immunodeficiency with defective class-switched B cells, low IgG and impaired T cell responses, and a chromosomal translocation involving IL21R has been reported in B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
