Human IL31 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser24-Thr164, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.13 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Interleukin-31 (IL31) is a ~18 kDa protein. Activates STAT3 and possibly STAT1 and STAT5 through the IL31 heterodimeric receptor composed of IL31RA and OSMR. For research use only.
May function in skin immunity. Enhances myeloid progenitor cell survival in vitro. Induces RETNLA and serum amyloid A protein expression in macrophages.
